A circus arena or abandoned stage of day-dreams
thoughts and musings of the artist. Digital art renderings inspired
by her alter-ego Imogen. Carnivalesque, child-like and mystical
in nature, these digital images are tiny snapshots of an over-active
imagination. For more info on this collection, see Artist
Commentary below.

Artist's Commentary Imogen is my alter-ego, the person
I become during a day-dream, when I'm reading, listening to good
music, that first hit of caffiene from a strong caffee, when I'm
approaching 'the place' of alcoholic pleasure, when I'm alone,
or when I indulge in fantasies and ideas.
She is like a shadow in the night that passes swiftly, my 'Muse
of the White Fire'. She is not around long enough to analyse
or interpret. She is a mystical moment, the closest I get to spiritual
feeling.
The ideas that come to me while in this state are not always joyful
but are very strange and surrealist. Its part of who I am. The
mundane is not enough, I love to visit these strange worlds and
see what inspiration I can find within them. The images I return
with are often of people, animals, the play on darkness and light,
and have a heavy theatrical feel.
